The purpose of the education programs at the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art is to promote, preserve, encourage, and educate the public about the study of the Spanish colonial arts and its related cultures and living traditions. The Society’s museum and onsite collection serve as the center and basis for educational programs.
Youth & Family Programs
Details about new youth and family programming coming soon!
We are currently revising our programming. Please check back for details on upcoming lectures and special programs for adults featuring traditional market artists, historians, authors, art curators, and special speakers with an artistic or historic focus.
Our collection includes an extensive library of pictorial, historical and informational books available to scholars and researchers located in the Stockman Collections Center of our museum. Although our collection does not circulate at this time, visitors are welcome to come in and browse or research our books by appointment.
