The Spanish Colonial Arts Society

About the Society

The Spanish Colonial Arts Society is a nearly 100 year old 501c3 cultural heritage institution, founded to promote and preserve the traditional arts of this region and the Spanish Colonial world in general. The Society’s five pillars – Museum Campus, Spanish Markets, Permanent Collections, Educational Programs, and Reference Library – collectively reflect New Mexico as the historic birthplace of Hispanic art in the United States. We are open at our Museum Hill location and warmly welcome everyone, from our neighbors right here in Santa Fe, vacationers and tourists, visitors from other states, and to international travelers. Please come in to enjoy what we have to offer you!
